After retirement I volunteered to work with an organization that helps small business entrepreneurs.  SCORE (Service Corps of Retired Executives).  This is run by retired executives and is partnered with the SBA (Small Business Administration) and dedicated to helping people succeed in small business.  I was a technical consultant for about ten years for the Score Chapter 476 in Staten Island.  I am still in contact with some members but do not attend meetings.

Seeing a need to help people especially those of us 50+ gain computer literacy I volunteered to help others learn how to use computers in a national organization called SeniorNet.  The website I created and maintain for SeniorNet in Staten Island.  I just recently asked to leave the executive board and have emeritus status because I still do much work for them I just don't attend monthly meetings.
